Save the date for Run a Kid to Camp in 2026!
Who: Campers, parents, alumni, staff members, friends of Sea Gull and Seafarer
What: Wilmington Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay Marathon and 5k
When: February 27 - 28, 2026
Where: Wilmington, NC
Why: Camp Seafarer's Run a Kid to Camp (RAKTC) program began in 2000 when three members of Seafarer's leadership staff approached the directors with an idea: to use a marathon as a fundraising opportunity to send more children to Camp. Since then, more than 1,000 alumni, families and friends of Camp have trained for and run half or full marathons. This endowment, which provides camperships to girls of single parents, has sent more than 115 girls to Camp since its inception.
